dmr.tools

DMR.Tools is a website providing Tytera codeplug editing in the browser.

For users of the Chrome web browser on Linux, Android, or MacOS, you can also communicate with the radio directly over USB without installing OEM firmware or the OpenRTX fully open alternative firmware with an ease completely unprecedented within the world of land mobile radios.

I have big dreams for this project that would require funding for full-time effort for years to realize, or monetization at a level that the current featureset and userbase cannot support. I’m not sure how to solve that one to realize those dreams, but I’ll keep working on it!

You can use it on Windows too with Zadig (you want “WinUSB” drivers, IIRC). I’m not supporting this, though, as it’s too easy to forget you’ve done so and this driver replacement with break the functionality of the OEM codeplug editor and firmware update tools.

I simply can’t afford to help a glut of Windows users with driver issues, especially with how user-hostile Windows has been, and has been becoming.
